2020 SAFER CHILDBIRTH CITIES
The Safer Childbirth Cities initiative aims to support community-based organizations in US cities with a high burden of maternal mortality and morbidity. Launched in October 2018, the Safer Childbirth Cities initiative is supporting community-based organizations in cities across the country to implement evidence-based interventions and innovative approaches to help them become safer – and more equitable – places to give birth. In 2020, Safer Childbirth Cities is expanding to new geographies and looking for the second cohort of grantees to improve maternal health outcomes and promote health equity in their communities.
We are proud to be helping make all cities become SaferChildbirthCities! We’re committed to providing pregnant and postpartum people the care they need during the #COVID19 pandemic and beyond. Do you have the same mission? Learn more and join us: MerckforMothers.com/SaferChildbirthCities
